Seth Hammond offers tailored personal training to improve overall fitness and reach your goals. 

 

Located in historic McKinney and known as McKinney's Fit Dad, Seth Hammond knows all too well the struggles of injury, aging and getting off track. With over 12 years of personal training experience and an incredible come back story of his own, seth will help you reach your fitness goals. In addition to personal training, he offers corporate wellness Plans and Gym design consultations. 

What's Your Goal? Are you ready to feel better? Is it to look better naked? Is it to combat the effects of a sedentary job? To recover from a heart attack or stave one off? Whatever your goal, you deserve to be the best version of yourself.   

Work. Kids. Commitments. It's easy to get off track, but then when you feel it, WOW. It's harder to climb up the stairs, the heat affects you in a new way and your doctor mentions finding a cardiologist. WTF? The shit has hit the fan.

I was there. Even as a health professional, owning a gym in the most prosperous city in America, I was stressed, working 14 hour days and grinding my body, mind and health into the ground. I ended up with a torn elbow ligament and a torn knee. Sound familiar?

The details may be different but the story is the same: broken, needing healing and unfit. I had strayed not only from self-care but from the very principles of true health and fitness that I clung to in the beginning of my career.  My body and mind were paying the ultimate price. 

Fast forward to today, and I feel strong. My goal isn’t a 6-pack. It’s to play all weekend with my family and to feel energized throughout the day.  I train for mobility and health, not to torture myself. I've moved into a space of true health and fitness. 

Why Train With Seth? Can’t I Workout On my Own?

Eventually. But have you tried to wing it alone before? How did that work for you?  There is POWER in a number greater than ONE. My goal is to train you to make better personal choices and attain health, not just fitness, everyday…and eventually on your own. But the most successful clients choose to continue a health and personal training plan, even after the initial goals are met. Why? Because accountability is key, and there are many factors that play into moving into a space of health. With something as important as your health, you deserve the best possible support.

I'm into food (read about it HERE). I'm constantly researching the latest in nutrition so you don't have to. With a love for with REAL food and an honest-no-gimmick approach to nutrition, I help clients navigate grocery aisles and restaurant menus.
